Sikorski Museum is located in South Kensington, London, United Kingdom.
About the museum
The Sikorski Museum is by no means a mainstream museum and is much smaller than other war museums around London, such as the Imperial War Museum. What is lacks in size, it makes up for in character, and the collectors at the museum have created a collection which is designed to show the Polish cultures influence on the world, in particular during the war.
Inside the museum are a range of photographs, documents and many actual artefacts preserved from the war, which give the story of the war from a Polish perspective, and often visitors find that the story is very different from the westernised version we read in history books and see on the television.
